About the group

We began operations 20 years ago in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in the UAE, and we are now present in the Suez Canal area in Egypt.

A group that began trading in tobacco and marine supplies in 2004; today, its operations are centered at its warehouses within the Suez Canal Free Zone.

Our story

Al-Ahed Group began operations in 2004 at the Jebel Ali Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates, specializing in the tobacco trade and the supply of provisions and essential goods to vessels. This highly specialized sector deals with duty- and tax-free products, requiring precise licensing, comprehensive customs documentation, and rigorous operational oversight.

From its base in Jebel Ali, the Group expanded its activities to Turkey and Greece, gaining practical experience in dealing with global shipping lines, ship chandlers, and duty-free operators, while also establishing direct relationships with manufacturers and their regional agents.

In 2022, Al-Ahed Group (LLC) – Free Zone was established as a licensed Egyptian entity operating under the free zone regime at the entrance to the Suez Canal, with an issued capital of USD 1 million and a 25-year operating license.

Today, the Group’s operations are centered in Egypt, where it owns a 2,900-square-meter warehouse within the free zone. It comprehensively serves ports along the Red Sea, the Suez Canal, and the Mediterranean—including Suez, Ain Sokhna, Adabiya, Port Said, Damietta, and Alexandria, as well as all other authorized ports.

We do not sell our products in the local market; Our activities are exclusively limited to ship supply, licensed ship chandlers, duty-free outlets at airports and seaports, duty-free shops at land border crossings, and export operations.
